Dili, on January 18, 2019. Executive Secretary of Human Capital Development Fund (HCDF/FDCH), Mr. Isménio Martins da Silva said that FDCH was willing to Support to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) program in Timor-Leste in relation to human resources development.

This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary during a meeting with the Timor-Leste Compact Development Team (MCC) at meeting room of the Ministério da Reforma Legislativa e Assuntos Parlementares, Palácio do Governo, Dili.

The top Leader of HCDF/FDCH, Mr. da Silva said that, as an institutions with the main activity and experiences in human resources development in Timor-Leste, he thought that FDCH is ready to contributing for the MCC program.

According to Mr. da Silva, this program is very important for the human resources development in Timor-Leste, especially in the area of skill development program as offered by MCC.

Therefore, he said that FDCH should work together with MCC in term of line coordination with the main objective is to ensure the quality of this program.

A part of that, Mr. da Silva also said that the MCC program is very good and helpful for this country, but two parts (FDCH & MCC) should work together to ensure the quality of this program, when it is going to be implemented.

At the same time, MCC Executive Director of Timor-Leste, Mr. Constânçio Pinto was giving his appreciation for the willingness and contribution of the FDCH in the field of human resources development.

He said that, they were very excited about the contributions of the FDCH, they hoped that in the future, they could work together with FDCH to support the MCC program“.

According to the plan MCC will hold a public launch in February 2019. The partipants at the meeting were Mr. Constânçio Pinto (Diretór Ezekutivu MCC), Mr. Isménio Martins da Silva (Executive Secretary of FDCH), Mr. Henrique do Rosário (Coordinator of GAGESI-FDCH) including Directors from other related Ministries (Média FDCH).
